Vineyard Vixen 29 "Ellen"
This boat has undergone an extensive refit and is in excellent shape. The toe rail was removed and the hull to deck joint was ground down glassed over and faired. This eliminated any chance of leaks in this area. All exterior surfaces were painted with Alexseal 2 part epoxy paint. Original ports were replaced with 6 new Lewmar ports. lewmar fore deck hatch was installed. new running rigging led to rope clutches. Self tailing sheet winches installed. Harken roller furling. New ipe bulwarks, extra stanchions and new lifelines were installed for a bullet proof rail system. Every piece of hardware was removed rebedded and fastened with new stainless fasteners. Recent Mainsail. New seacocks, through hulls and hoses were installed as needed. Three through hulls eliminated. interior was painted and varnished. New cabinet doors and hardware. New Natures Head composting toilet installed. Garmin Echo &" chart plotter on a swivel mount installed. Recent repower with a Beta Marine 20HP diesel. New Bow lights masthead light cabin lights and all existing lights converted to LED.new Bilge pump. New Windex Replaced Bow Pulpit. This is one of the nicest examples of a Vineyard Vixen anywhere. Vineyard Vixens are regaurded as extremely able boats with the ability to handle heavy weather and seas. This boat tracks amazingly wee. it is super well balanced and has no bas habits. If you are looking for a classic design that turns heads, is fun to sail and is in excellent condition this is the boat for you.
