Rigel is a classic wooden sloop, mahogany on oak frames, with a steel centerboard, roller reefing boom, spacious, deep cockpit seating, built for the racing class of the Corinthian Yacht Club of Philadelphia and retired for 40 years; now sailed lazily as a daysailer.
