35' ChrisCraft Sparkman & Stephens designed SailYacht

YellowBird #78/80, first fiberglass boat ChrisCraft built & by Sparkman & Stephens (highly renowned Naval Architects).
Restored & modernized. With marinized 55 hp Mercedes 220D, new starter, raw water pump, & injectors were rebuilt by Everglades Diesel. 120 gallons of fuel in 2 new stainless steel tanks. Large Racor fuel filter. Gage panel new, all gages working! Center cockpit is huge! 2 adults can sleep comfortably. Teak floor grates. Cable steering & CPT auto pilot! Garmin chart plotter, VHF radio. 1 double & 1 single berth aft. Foreword 2 settees, sleep one adult each. The head has pressure water shower, and with electric hot water, & Airhead composting toilet. Galley rebuilt with African Cherry counter, and stainless steel walls. Ice box is 3 dense foam & has efficient Engel cold plate. Stove is 2 burner Origo. Foot pump at sink, & pressure water. Teak paneling, insulated head liner, & lots of storage. Solid Teal & holly floors. 2- 30 gal water tanks, heavy 60s poly & were scoured & replumbed. Roller furl Genoa, & furling storm sail. Sails custom, 10 years old. Standing rigging was replaced in 2011. Running rigging in great shape.
Bottom job 2 years with epoxy barrier coat. Thru hulls below water line are- engine intake, cockpit scuppers. Manual bilge pump as back-up to her two float switch activated ones. Dry Bildge.
Ground tackle is #1-25# Rochna & 300 3/8ths chain. #2-22# Danforth with 50 of 3/8 chain and 150 rode. Manual windlass is bronze & works great! Dinghy is 9 Dhyer knock-off. Rigged to sail with single mast. Sail in great shape. Comes as rowing tender. Davits are anodized aluminum & well supported with backing plates.
240 watts of solar, 4 house batteries, single starting battery. Lights all LED. 12v outlets aft cabin, by panel, forward at settee. SS dive ladder on stern.
